Steps to reproduce:
Header of email message is attached to bugreport.
First step:
initial_sender@yandex.ru sent his email to forwarder_mail@mail.ru at 6 Dec 2019 21:59
Second step:
forwarder_mail@mail.ru forwarded this email to receiver_mail@some_server.ru at 29 Jan 2020 11:14
Third step:
The message to receiver_mail@some_server.ru reaches thunderbird mail client at 29 Jan 2020 11:34
Actual results:
Message timestamp in messagelist date column is 06.12.2019, 21:59
Expected results:
Message timestamp in messagelist date column should be 29.01.2020, 11:14
Same message in MS Outlook looks fine.

That message has header
Date: Fri, 06 Dec 2019 21:59:04 +0300
So showing what thunderbird does seems correct. If you want the received date, there is a column for that.
