Attached video Recording of the issue

Affected platforms:
All

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Launch Firefox
  2. Go to twitter.com (or any other site)
  3. Fill in the username and password fields
  4. Click on "Forgot Password?" or any other link that navigates to a different site in the same tab

Expected:
The save prompt should not be displayed without the user action to actually submit the typed in credentials

Actual:
The save prompt is displayed upon navigation to a different site.

Regression-Range:
Not a regression. It can be reproduced back to FX68.

Note
This could could be a dupe or already known functionality. Would like to have a confirmation for it to have as future reference.

Attached file Log

This is expected behaviour as there is no good way for us to differentiate the forgot password link click from a submit link/button click.
