Hey Danielle, do you still have time to work on this? If not, maybe we can give this bug to someone else? It would be great if we could ship the updated design eventually and there are lots of other tasks on certificate viewer if you want to pick up development again :)
Thanks!
Just to be clear, by mobile you mean the certificate viewer on phones right? Because this ticket is not posted under the "Firefox for Android" section it is causing confusion for some people: https://superuser.com/questions/1270590/how-to-view-ssl-certificate-details-in-firefox-mobile/1545085#comment2394415_1545085
Oh, and a second question, will there be a "details" button or something to get to about:certificate? I don't think one should be required to type that to get there, it feels hidden. I tested the nightly version out and I see no button.
I'm not sure if this is the right ticket or not - I'm not asking about styling, exactly, but rather the workflow for viewing a cert with the new FF for Android. Since the new version launched, when I tap the padlock in the URL bar, I just see a "signed by (issuer)" with no apparent way to get the rest of the details. Am I missing something? Obviously, the ability to see e.g. the cert owner is a very important security feature, so I can't imagine it's totally impossible, but I can't figure it out.

Clear a needinfo that is pending on an inactive user.
Inactive users most likely will not respond; if the missing information is essential and cannot be collected another way, the bug maybe should be closed as INCOMPLETE
.
