While working on adding an optional containers menu on the new tab button:

I ran into the issue that I couldn't use the same menu for both the right and left click even when I altered the menupopup getter:

Is there a way to do this? It doesn't look like a left click uses the menupopup getter. How does left click on a menu open the popup?
