Steps to reproduce:

Set in options Day starts at 7:00, Day ends at 18:00, Show 14 hours at once.
Use day or week view (it works the same), move the scrollbart so the top visible row is at 7:00 and last visible row is 20:00.
Click on < or > to change day / week

Actual results:

When I click on < or > to change day / week the srollbar moves to the top / bottom so the veiw doesn't stay in the same time but starts in 0:00 or ends in 23:59

Expected results:

The view time position should stay at the same time

Summary: Changing day / week results into sliding to the top / bottom of the page → Changing day / week results into sliding to the top / bottom of the view

Also scrolling by mouse wheel even when I set "Show 2 hours at once" results in scrolling to the top / bottom of the view.

Kristina, have your problems been resolved in a more recent Thundebird version (like 68.12.0 or 78.2.2)?

Martin, it works somehow for me but it is not a flawless solution yet. Thunderbird version 78.2.2 32-bit.

I needed to see a in a week view events from 7:00 to 21:00. (I start my day early and I combine personal and work calendar.) When I changed option "My day starts at" to 7:00 then it worked. I had to restart Thunderbird to let the change take an effect but afterwards it worked fine. On each day / week the view starts at 7:00 and I am able to change the number of displayed hours by Ctrl + Num+ or Ctrl + Num-

The flawless solution would be when you move slider so you see your events for example from 1:00 and change the week (I use < > buttons at the top of the page) then in the other week the position of the slider (and position of the hours) should remain the same.

Anyway thanks for the improvement :-)
