User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:74.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/74.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open quora.com
  2. Click on any social login button

Actual results:

Clicking on Facebook login does nothing. Clicking on Google login does open OAuth but after completing that, nothing happens, just keeps loading something showing "..." in the bottom left corner.

Expected results:

Should've logged me in.

Hi Sayantan,

I wasn't able to reproduce this issue on Firefox 72.0.2 or Firefox Nightly 74.0a1

Please test if the issue occurs to you in safe mode. Here is a link that can help you with that:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

If it does, also test it using a new profile, you can find the steps to do that below:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Managing-profiles#w_starting-the-profile-manager

Thank you for reporting!

It does work in safe mode. But when I turn the add-ons back on, I get logged out again.

Flags: needinfo?(sayantan.santra689)

So it seems like an add-on is causing the issue.
Try disabling them all, and then enabling them one-by-one so you can pinpoint the add-on at fault.

Since this was an add-on issue, I'm marking it as resolved:worksforme
