This bug is for installing Intel Power Gadget on all desktop hardware systems in preparation for some future power testing.
:dhouse, I've added you as CC to this. We don't need to have this installed anytime soon but we will at some point in the future (TBD) so I thought I'd give you a heads up about this.
:sparky, does this include windows and linux workers? (so, the moonshots)

:sparky the dependencies have been closed as wontfix. Should we keep this open?

There is no information about why they were closed though so I'm hesitant to say we should also close this one. It seems like they were just caught in a mass-bug change.

Is this still relevant now that we're able to collect power usage information with Windows APIs?
(In reply to Marco Castelluccio [:marco] from comment #6)

We can only collect information on Windows 11 with Intel CPUs or on Macs with Apple Silicon CPUs, so we don't have full coverage. But... I think think we'll want to explore using Intel Power Gadget now that we know we can have better on some platforms. So I think this would be fine to WONTFIX.
