STR:
- Connect bluetooth headphones.
- Open Firefox and go to whereby.com.
- Open a room and click on "Request permissions".
- Make sure that the bluetooth device is the one selected and click "Allow".
- Click "Join meeting".
Expected result:
- The video and the sound works fine.
Actual result:
- The video is blank and there is no sound. At some point the bluetooth device is automatically deactivated and the image starts without any issue.

I am not able to reproduce this with my Airpod.
Paul,
Are you able to reproduce it? Does this only happen with WH-CH500? Not sure what happen from the log, does this happen when plug or unplug the WH-CH500? or it can be reproduce by the STR above?
BTW, The switching_device
used when switching the devices may have data race, it will be fixed by cubeb-coreaudio-rs #47

Oana, would it be possible to try again? We've fixed a thing or two in the area. If it still happen, we'll get the same headset and debug locally. Thanks!

Hello Paul,
I am sorry that I didn't respond sooner, but I was on PTO.
I can't seem to reproduce the issue neither on the latest Nightly nor Nightly from 2020-02-06. So I am not sure if this issue is fixed or not.
I used the exact same macBook, the same headset and the steps from comment 1, but still couldn't reproduce the issue.

No worries. It's not surprising because it was a race. Chunmin has done lots of work in between that might have improved this, considering those Sony, like their headphone counterpart do rapid bluetooth protocol/device switching when opening the mic.
I'm closing this, but we can always reopen or file a new one. Thanks!
