STR:

  1. Open https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Tech/XPCOM/Guide/Internal_strings
  2. Open new tab
  3. In awesome bar enter "Mozilla internal string guide" (the title of the page above)
  4. Tab down to the entry that has "Switch to tab"
  5. Hit CMD(or CTRL) + l

Expected:
The url will be selected

Actual:
The cursor ends up at the end of the URL

Note: You can repeat the above with any URL

This is seems to be a regression, as I do this quiet often to copy/paste urls.

Doesn't have to be switch to tab, just type something in the input, arrow down to highlight a result, press Command-L. The selection in the input flickers and then the caret moves to the end. Guessing this is due to the auto-open behavior but I haven't debugged it.
