From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0.0) Gecko/20020530 BuildID: 2002053012 1. Start Mail, open Inbox from sidebar. 2. Hide the sidebar & then exit mail. 3. Restart mail; no list of headers appears, the inbox folder is not re-opened. 4. Must re-display sidebar & select inbox. Am converting from N'scape 6.2. Have single POP mail account. Have encountered no other problems. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.See description 2. 3. Expected Results: Last selected folder should be opened by default.
Reporter: Are you still seeing this bug in current builds?
Have not used Mozilla since this incident. Have upgraded to Netscape 7.0 with no problems. Since i am not the sole user of this machine, cannot experiment as much as i'd like. Ken Thompson
Ken Thompson, as you may be aware, the sidebar is no longer part of Mozilla. If mail/news is started with the folder pane hidden, an initial folder is nonetheless selected. I'm marking this bug Invalid, just because it no longer applies.
