Details
(Whiteboard: [MemShrink])
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:72.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/72.0
Steps to reproduce:
Login to my.xfinity.com, clicked on envelope icon to check mail. This opens mail into same tab. From there click on left 3-4 lines for menu and choose "my account". This opens another tab back to my accounts. Going to other website pages in this domain act in a similar fashion. Xfinity.tv, xfinity speedtest etc.
Actual results:
Following steps above with task manager open, you can clearly watch Firefox task performing a run-away memory leak. It will use up all of the memory on the system 8GB and lock the computer up. CPU usage 100%. I tested Firefox with add-ons, or any extensions disabled, and I get the same results. The browser locks up quickly and around 4-6GB I have to Alt-F4 to kill the browser.
Expected results:
Should perform normally without memory leaks. I am not sure if this is Firefox related or Xfinity related. With the add-ons disabled I am assuming it is some default script or function doing it. I also reported it to Xfinity and they are aware of the problem and it has been sent to higher up people for review.
P.S. I wanted to add I did test it with Chrome Browser and didn't see same behavior. However, I didn't test it extensively.

Hey Sean,
Unfortunately xfinity is a service provider to which I do not have access and cannot register since it's not available in my country.
If you would be so kind to provide some login details for us to test this issue, this would be much appreciated.
In the meantime could you re-test this issue using Safe mode? You can find helpful info here : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode .
Can your please record a performance profile when the issue is occurring and send us the results? This can be done using the Gecko Profiler, more info at the link: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Performance/Profiling_with_the_Built-in_Profiler .
