Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:73.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/73.0

Steps to reproduce:

After new Firefox update (Firefox 73.0) my language is default Lithuanian, when in the settings it is English.

Actual results:

Everything is in Lithuanian except Options menu

Expected results:

Everything Should be In English

In about:addons, Languages tab, do you have a language pack installed? Can you search for updates for the add-on if it's enabled?

Hi saulius,

Thank you for your report.
I downloaded Firefox Release 70.0 for LT locale, installed it and went to about:preferences where I could see that the language corresponded with the version installed. Then I updated to 73.0, checked about:preferences again and the language didn't change to English, it remained Lithuanian.
As per your expected results, the options menu should remain in English, is this correct?

In order to reproduce this issue I'll need more information from you:

  • From which version did you update Firefox?
  • Is the options menu the about:preferences page?
  • Do you use any specific addons to change the option's language to English whereas the rest of the browser language remains in Lithuanian?

Thanks,
Virginia
