On this page when i move the mouse pointer over the sidebar on the left, the
text items are highlighted. But the size of this highlight is to small. The
items are only highlighted under the text. In IE6 the whole text item is
highlighted.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. goto the above page
2. move the mouse pointer over the sidebar on the left

Actual Results: Text items are highligted only under text.

Expected Results: The whole text item should be highligted.

Summary: selection highlight has wrong size → background of transparent gif isn't changed on mouseover
Attached file testcase
When a transparent gif is nested inside an anchor and the CSS a.hover is set to
change the background, the background isn't changed correctly "behind" the
transparent gif.
Severity: trivial → normal

The background of the is changing. The background of the is not
changing, nor should it -- it has no background set anywhere.

The is not as tall as the image in this case, and that is correct -- the
should not be affecting the line height.
