We occasionally get this error in stage and production:
ClientError: An error occurred (AccessDenied) when calling the PutObject operation: Access Denied
In 2019, when developing the new infrastructure, it happened due to an IAM misconfiguration. It is now rare, and appears to be associated with deployments.
ckolos says: All the permissions are assigned via IAM role. Might be something fixable by moving the IAM role out of the stack creation and treating it as a static resource
Because of the volume of data, losing the occasional observation set is not critical, so I'm assigning a low priority.
