User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.15; rv:73.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/73.0
Steps to reproduce:
macOS Settings>General>Appearance>Auto
FF customise toolbar>Default theme
Actual results:
Systemwide theme changes automatically to dark (night). FF also changes to dark theme. The next day the systemwide theme changes to light (day), but FF doesn't.
Expected results:
FF should change theme whenever the system does.

Hi,
I was able to reproduce this issue on Mac OS 10.15 with Firefox version Nightly 75.0a1 (2020-02-21) - Beta 74.0b6 - Release 73.0.1. Marking those flags as affected.
Also I'm setting component to Firefox - Themes and status to NEW for someone to take a look at this.
