Steps to reproduce:

access the application
Navigate to Online Catalog Page
Enter Data into the order quantity field
Try entering Alphanumeric data eg.23$$

Actual results:

It is observed Application displays error msg but accepts the invalid entry.

Expected results:

Application must display alert message and should not accept the invalid entry.
