[Prerequisites]:

  • Have WebRender graphics compositor enabled.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open about:newtab page.
  2. Hover over any Top Site/Recommended by Pocket/Highlights card.
  3. Observe the context menu button.

[Expected result]:

  • Context menu button animation is rendered correctly.

[Actual result]:

  • Context menu button animation is rendered incorrectly.

[Notes]:

  • Issue is observed better for Highlights cards.
  • Not reproducing if Webrender is disabled.

Are you referring to the transitioning in/out of the context button menu when you hover over it and then away?

Comment on attachment 9128430 [details] context.gif Yes. Seems like a ..."blurry" display, for the first sec., of the cards context menu button. Attaching a closer look.

Reproduced in latest Nightly 91.0a1 under Win 10 64-bit.
