delivery status notification does not work with Thunderbird v68.5

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/80.0.3987.116 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
1- Writing a message with Thunderbird x64 V68.
2- Selecting from the "options" menu "return receipt" AND/OR "delivery status notification".
3- Sending message.
Actual results:
I am not receiving either of these expected responses.
Note 1:
When self-testing by sending to oneself a message with either or both options enabled. The result is that you will receive your email but none of the 2 notifications.
Note 2:
This problem exist on Thunderbird x64 v68, but the Thunderbird x32 v68 works correctly.
Expected results:
1- Notification of delivery success or failure from the network provider.
2- A "read notification" from the addressee if he/she wishes to reply to the "return receipt" request.

I think something more sinister is happening on your system, because I cannot confirm your experience.
Sending from 64bit windows 68.5.0 to a Mac running beta 74 - works, the return receipt is sent and received. Ditto testing sending to a second account on the same windows machine.

Correction the return receipt works (if one does not forget to enable it!) but the "Notification of delivery" does NOT work.
