Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:68.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/68.0

Expected results:

There should be a way to configure a whitelist of Autoplay exceptions via prefs.js (and by extension about:config) for deploying default whitelists to multiple profiles/users.

Hi Jason.
Thanks for submitting this as an enhancement for Block Autoplay. Will move it over to it's component so the developers can check it out.
Have a nice day!

Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Component: Untriaged → Audio/Video: Playback
Ever confirmed: true
Product: Firefox → Core

Currently these kinds of exception are all stored inside the permission manager, so I would change this bug to that component.

Component: Audio/Video: Playback → Permission Manager

Probably an enterprise policies thing.

Component: Permission Manager → Enterprise Policies
Product: Core → Firefox

We've added this to policy. It will be in the next release if Firefox (next week).
