A number of pages cause massive lagging of the browser severe enough that my mouse even starts lagging. It is 100% repeatable on my system, only with web render enabled.

On 73.0.1, the lags are extremely severe and occur also on tab activation. 75%+ of my CPU time is consumed by Firefox in kernel code.

On nightly (2020-02-22) the lags are less severe, do not occur on tab activation. However they still cause noticeable mouse lagging issues. Disabling web render makes this specific page load instantly in Nightly. The issue is also visible when scrolling: if I scroll continuously, 80%+ CPU usage occurs, Process Hacker shows it as kernel mode.

Tested on nVidia 1070, latest Studio driver v442.19.

There's some bad blob image stuff going on that page.

Blocks: wr-perf

I think this is probably a worse version of bug 1599214

Depends on: 1617493
Priority: -- → P2
Blocks: wr-blob-perf
No longer blocks: wr-perf

This page appears to run well now, and there's no major blob rasterization occurring.
