Hi I tried to log into a meeting today using the Mozilla web browser but it didnt want to work (www.mozilla.org) Do you support or plan to support Mozilla? I would have thought that as you have a lot on technology-focussed clients, whos users run Unix and Linux workstations, without access to Microsoft Internet Explorer, you would be keen to support the Mozilla platform. Mozilla has a bug open on this: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161816 thx dave

Using NS 7.1, I get the following on the Java console trying to join an event: Netscape security model is no longer supported. Please migrate to the Java 2 security model instead. Additional Communication: Hello Matthew, Currently WebEx has a tentative date of February 2004 for Linux, Solaris and Mac OS 10.1-2 support on Event Center 4.3. I do say a tentative date because this is when they would like this to be available but from my experiences everything always takes longer than expected. Thank you for contacting WebEx Technical Support. _______________________________ Michael Ertz Email Support Division WebEx Communications, Inc. support@webex.com FREE WebEx services training and support are available via http://support.webex.com

Additonal Communications: Greetings! Currently, we do not offer compatibility with Netscape 7.1; however, we DO support Netscape 7.0 and we are working for 7.1 and Mozilla support very soon. I am using firefox 0.9.3 and I could not join a webex session on https://verisign.webex.com/verisign Because webex does not support mozilla. I did send a complaint to webex support. I see that this bug has been outstanding for some time now. Is there no pressure that can be placed on webex for a fix?

From outlook, if I click on a meeting link, using firefox 3.5.2, I get the "join or start a meeting" button and then it goes into the webex "One moment please" page: When a security message appears, click Yes to continue setting up WebEx Meeting Manager. If you clicked No because you want to set up Meeting Manager at a later time, or a security message does not appear, you may choose to download and run the Meeting Manager Installer before starting or joining a meeting. You must have administrator privileges on your computer to use this installer. Download Meeting Manager Installer for Internet Explorer Download Meeting Manager Installer for Mozilla Firefox/Netscape Navigator I do not need to install meeting manager did something happen with security?

Is anyone taking care of this bug? (it is yet to be assigned to anyone)

I fixed my problem by uninstalling the webex meeting manager and the webex productivity tools and firefox. I then downloaded all new install binaries then installed firefox, webex meeting manager and webex productivity tools, in that order. Outlook was shut down at this time. I then rebooted, started outlook, firefox and now I am once again able to click on a webex meeting link (from my outlook calendar) and have the meeting manager spawned once I hit the start meeting button.

I tried last week and now WebEx is working for me in SeaMonkey. I'm using Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.15) Gecko/20101026 SUSE/2.0.10-1.1 SeaMonkey/2.0.10 with IcedTea6 1.9.1 (suse-67.1-x86_64). Yay! No more running WebEx in a MS Windows XP virtual machine! Can others confirm whether the problem is fixed for them as well? If so, this bug can be closed.

This problem has persisted since the initial beta release of Firefox 4 (running Mac OS 10.6.7). The workaround I resorted to is: - Install 3.6, rename the app from Firefox to Firefox 3.6 - From Terminal launch Firefox profile manager with the command line minus the quotes "/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -profilemanager" - Create a new profile for Firefox 3.6 - Run Firefox 3.6 when I need to use WebEx (several times a week). I am hoping that this issue is resolved soon so I can get rid of this kluge.

Still works fine for me in SeaMonkey on openSUSE -- Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.18) Gecko/20110320 SUSE/2.0.13-1.1 SeaMonkey/2.0.13. I use it almost every week at work with no problems whatsoever.
