Based on GIjs' feedback on several intermittent failures related to shutdown, it seems possible for a sync to be ongoing during shutdown, and IndexedDB operations will start failing.
It is possible that some our SYNC_ERRORs could be related to this. If possible, we could report CLEANUP_ERROR instead for example.

We have a good proportion of offline errors, which could be ignored during shutdown.
But there's also a good amount of TypeError that we may want to investigate. But how?
