mozilla1.1b and 0809nightly I try to populate a tree template using RDF from a remote server. I load xpconf.xul, xpconfOverlay.xul, xpconf.rdf, and xpconf.js but xpconf.rdf does not get loaded. I have checked it with tcpdump, xpconf.rdf does not load. I have tried to find out why it doesn't but I don't know the datasource loading that well. I think it is xpcom/io/nsXXXXLoadFile.cpp
I am running Linux Mozilla1.1b. I am looking at http://www.mozilla.org/docs/xul/xulnotes/template-outliner.html when I click on http://www.mozilla.org/docs/xul/xulnotes/template-outliner.xul all I see is a splitter bar, No OUTLINER, also there is NO request for "toc-2.rdf", that tcpdump sees.
Reporter can you reproduce this bug with a newer build (1.4 final)? If not, then please close this bug as worksforme. Thanks.
