Based on the release process for syncstorage-rs, we'd like to start running the load tests in an automated fashion once the staging deploy has finished.

To start, we want to run the smaller tests so we can revisit and review costs. We will also need to setup these tests to run in the cloud; right now they've been run most recently from a local QA machine.

Tarek and Ben; I was told that you may have some history here with regards to running these in the cloud; are you aware of any existing infrastructure that we may still have setup to enable this?

We use to have a tool called ardere that was running load tests across AWS by spawning boxes for us. This is probably obsolete at this point given what Kubernetes offers now. I don't know if it's still available. Ben ?

If you want to run this loadtest on the cloud I think Kubernetes is probably the best bet today.
I had a meeting with Peter and Richard about this, and I think that's where they are heading. Happy to talk about all the options in details in a meeting since I built most of those tools

Thanks, Tarek! As we get closer to being ready to implement this (we have a few other things in the pipeline first), we'll set something up.
