RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1611914

(Reporter: ca.steve.foobar, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:73.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/73.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Logins & Passwords
  2. Click on any login entry
  3. Click on the eye icon to view the password
  4. Type the master password when asked
  5. View the password
  6. Click on the Copy button

Actual results:

After typing the master password in step 4 and viewing the password in step 5, clicking on the Copy button in step 6, forces me to retype the master password I just typed for viewing the password in step 5.

So I'm asked to type a master password when I start a Firefox session, then I'm asked again for EVERY LOGIN ROW where I want to see the login and password, whether I click on the eye icon or the Copy icon.

Expected results:

After typing the master password when starting a new Firefox session, when going into the Lockwise password vault and clicking on either the eye icon or the Copy button FOR ANY LOGIN, I should be able to view ALL LOGINS and ALL PASSWORDS in the browser tab has the Lockwise open. If I close this tab, then I will have to retype the master password the next time I open it ONCE, and again be able to see any logins and passwords WITHOUT constantly retyping the master password.
