Ie, we should ensure we're testing that sync respects the sync engines that a user has selected.

how would that be reflected exactly in the profile conditioning ? can you describe the scenario ?

Sure. One possible scenario is:
- User signs in; all sync engines enabled.
- Browses to a few pages; we confirm sync history exists for these pages.
- User disables "history" sync engine.
- User continues browsing.
- We confirm sync history does NOT exist for browsing after disabling history engine.
Let me know if I'm wildly off base in terms of what the conditioned profile logic can/can't do. I'm basis this request on a (perhaps incorrect) assumption that you'd actually be able to do step #3 here. If that's not possible, or you think there's a better way to cover this, let me know.
