Whenever a mail message is selected and you right click 
and select "Save As..." you get an Alert popup saying

   Unable to save the message. Please check your file name and try again later



Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open you mail folger
2. Right click on a message to bring up the menu
3. Select "Save As..."

Actual Results:  Alert popups up with

Unable to save the message. Please check your file name and try again later


Expected Results:  Ability to save message to a file,

Happens also in 20020810 (yesterday's) build.

same problem with File->Save As->File from the menu.  The problem is bug 161934
(although a different way of getting there).
