What were you doing?

Over the past week, ive seen two cases where the popup is positioned poorly. Once when there were no items, the second when the autocomplete term was await.

by any chance, do you have the "disable popup autohide" settings set to true in the browser toolbox?
If not, do you have steps to reproduce ?

no, it doesn't trigger the issue for me.

I'm really interested to know more about this. Is this only happening in the browser toolbox / browser console?
Are you doing specific actions?

Regarding the "positioned poorly", the position (above the input) is expected. But the missing content is weird.

Jason, please check if you have devtools.popup.disable_autohide set to true, it seems to trigger this kind of behavior. Which is not entirely unexpected, even though we should improve the ergonomics of this pref. It does its job but it makes the environment hard to use.
