This is only one of a whole slew of bad things that happen when you start
playing with this page with the 1.1 Candidate Build. Some of them result in
hard-locks of the entire system under Win9X. I'll try to post links to the
other bugs once I've filed them in hopes that together they'll point to the problem.
worksforme linux trunk cvs 2002-08-10. I've heard these ruours that recent
nightly builds might be corrupted or truncated or somesuch
This was on an upgrade install, but per the suggestion in bug 162207, I did so.
Behavior was identical even after an uninstall followed by reinstall. I'll try
a more recent build to see if it was just a quirk with that specific one.

BTW, I've also filed bug 162207 and bug 162220 re: problems with the listed URL.
Thought it might be worth mentioning them in case they're related.
Okay, after another uninstall, deletion of all profile information, and install
of 1.1 branch build 2002081108, the problem went away. So I guess this won't
harm anyone doing a totally fresh install of Moz 1.1. I'll tag it and its
siblings as invalid.

Is there any way, other than backing up your bookmarks, mail, etc, uninstalling
and reinstalling with a later build to safely upgrade from one build to another?
