162235 - cannot show Hebrew fonts

Whenever a page containing Hebrew fonts is presented the hebrew fonts appear as:
"????...". The preferences are correctly set and the appropriate "view" setting
is choosen. Note that for a while the Mozilla worked perfectly right but at some
point, for no reason has stopped to present Hebrew fonts either  by pages
containing such fonts nor by  clicking Hebrew fonts over the keyboard.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Entering to any URL having Hebrew fonts written over its pages.
2.Typing Hebrew fonts using the keyboard.
3.

Actual Results:  The problem is irepairable.

Expected Results:  Typing qustion marks.

WorksForMe using Mac/2002080208/9.2.2. Reassigning to Internationalization.

Works for me on 08-12 branch build / Mac 9.2.1 by display and type Hebrew
characters.

Reporter: do you have hebrew font available in your system? this problem only in
mozilla/netscape or IE has same result? could you please try it on latest build?

I have the same problem with newest (2002081218) build on Win2k. Yesterday build
and all previous were ok. Same pages look fine in previous build.

Is this a dupe of bug 162593? (If it is, deleting components/compreg.dat will
solve the problem)

What does that mean. Tell me what you see.

Why you expect it show you question marks? Do you type "?" (question mark) ?

This bug is targeted at a Mac classic platform/OS, which is no longer supported
by mozilla.org. Please re-target it to another platform/OS if this bug applies
there as well or resolve this bug.

I will resolve this bug as WONTFIX in four weeks if no action has been taken.
To filter this and similar messages out, please filter for "mac_cla_reorg".
