Details
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020722
BuildID: 2002072204
Clicking a URL to a document handled by a plugin (eg .pdf or .mov) from either a
standalone message window or the preview pane of the mailapp opens the document
in the pane where the actual message is supposed to go. Clicking on "regular"
URLs (.html etc) opens them in Navigator windows as expected. Once the .pdf or
.mov is opened in the message window, there is no obvious way to close it and
return to the original message without either closing the standalone window and
re-opening it or (if using the preview pane) clicking another message in the
index and then going back to the original, effectively re-loading it.
XP, Moz 1.1b, IMAP mailbox, plaintext or html message.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. send yourself a plaintext or html message with URLs to .pdf documents
2. open the message
3. click the URL
Actual Results: document loads in the message window and can't be closed
without closing the entire message.
Expected Results: document loads in a navigator window.
