Details

From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020813
BuildID: nightly build 2002081308

My existing bookmarks do not appear in the Bookmarks list but they do appear
under Manage Bookmarks.

If I add a new book mark it appears in both the list and in the manage bookmarks
list.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install nighlty build 2002081308
2. The dropdown list from the "Bookmarks" menu is empty except for the "Bookmark
this page", "File Bookmark", "Bookmark this group of tabs", and "Manage Bookmarks".
3. Import some bookmarks that you have saved.
4. They show up in the list until you restart Mozilla and then there are gone.

Actual Results: The bookmark list is empty.
"Manage Bookmarks" is not empty.

Expected Results: The bookmark list shouldn't be empty.
"Manage Bookmarks" is not empty.

Someone has told me that the same build works correctly on their system so I
will try future builds.
WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020813(08)
It happens in nightly build 2002081409 but not 2002073008.
Something broke in the nightly builds but it works for some other people
so we'll see how wide spread this is.
From a user newsgroup:

> Close Mozilla, disable "Quick Launch" (if enabled). Locate your profile
> directory and the files "localstore.rdf" and "xul.mfl" and delete both.
> Restart Mozilla, you'll note that some prefs will have to be reset
> possibly. Try again ......

That fixed it but...
Now all the newsgroup and account names are gone. :-)
