Steps to reproduce:
Person A update of an event in own calendar, sends updates to participant B. When participant B accept the update, they send their response to that update back to A, so A receives email "this message contains an update of an existing event", and if clicks "update", it will re-launch the whole loop. Never ending between A and B.
