Details

The Version field is modified such that it either subscribes to changes in the values of cf_status_firefoxNN (see next section) or uses a list of values defined at the product level (the current behavior.)

The behavior of the field is chosen at the product level and applies to all components of the product.

Version rules

Initial value

For bugs of Type defect, the initial value is unknown. For other types, n/a.

First change

Earliest version for which cf_status_firefoxNN was set to affected

Additional changes

If cf_status_firefoxNN set to affected for an earlier version, update “First Version Discovered In” to that version number.

If cf_status_firefoxNN set to ---, unaffected, or ? for the same version number as Version, unset the field and reset it to the next oldest version for which cf_status_firefoxNN is affected. If none available, set to initial value (unknown.)

Other changes to cf_status_firefoxNN do not change the value of the field.
