The above URL is not rendered correctly by
mozilla 1.0. (All the important characters
are shown as "?" as if there were
font problems.)
1.1 beta seems to display it correctly.

Now this may be a tech evangelism issue.
When I compared the source file shown
in Internet explorer 5.50.xx on win98se,
which displays the page in a readable manner,
I found that the source has a different
charset designator: The one shown in the source
file in MS IE was as follows.

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=shift_jis">

whereas the one shown in the mozilla 1.0, which
failed to show the page in a readable manner was
<meta HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

Something is possibly wrong on the MS web site.

Not sure what to make of this. I'm using Moz BuildID# 2002-08-13-04. I'm going
to attach the snapshot of this.

Maybe this is a dup of bug 159494 in the bad browser sniffing used by microsoft.

This is not related to bug 159494. It's still a site problem - the server
actually sends those question marks.

This is pure ua server side detection foo. Changing the ua to NS 7.01 will
display the page properly while a pure Mozilla ua will not. Removing technote
foo. I will hit them up after the new year on this.
