From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.1b) Gecko/20020814
BuildID: 2002081409

it displays something else. Did not have that problem with a builds from the
last week.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just go to any website that uses ISO-8859-2 encoding (for example, www.onet.pl)
2.
3.
Actual Results: strange marks instead of proper fonts
Expected Results: polish language fonts

Hmm, it works for me - the page is displayed fine(same as in comment #4) and the
charset in marked as iso-8859-2 on both my WinME and WinXP.
When you see the wrong display, which charset is marked? and which auto-detect
(View | Character Coding | Auto-Detect) option was?

Comment 6•23 years ago
|
||
(View | Character Coding | Auto-Detect) option is set to off. Central European
ISO-8859-2 is marked at (View | Character Coding). When I switch back to the
Mozilla build ID:2002081209 problem disappears. With build from today
(2002081509) it still exists. Both builds use exactly the same setup.

Can you please try create a new profile?

Launch the application by running Profile manager, create a new profile, then
start mozilla/netscape.

Well, I do not know what to say. It does not look too good now in Win98. And it
did work fine with the version from 4 days ago.

I checked all the checkin made between 8/12 to 8/15, and didn't see anything
suspecious. We have to reproduce this bug first.

shanjian is no longer working on mozilla for 2 years and these bugs are still
here. Mark them won't fix. If you want to reopen it, find a good owner first.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01".
This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.
While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.
If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
