After update to Nightly77.0a1 from Nightly76.0a1, main manubar and drop down does not localized in [ja] build. see attached screenshot.

This is expected to happen when we migrate parts of the startup content to Fluent. Existing translations need to be migrated to Fluent, and that's a manual process managed by one person (me).

Normally I'd close this as INVALID, because it's a known result of a complex process, but happy to keep it open and let you close it when fixed.

I plan to run migrations now, so the next nightly should be fixed.

It is reproduced with new profile.
The problem only appears in main menubar and its dropdown.
Hamburger menu is fine.

All this is expected. Startup affects the main window, not secondary elements like menu bar, about dialog, about pages, etc.

Note that there are two other bugs in queue for landing, so it should be fixed in the next nightly, then likely regress one more time before it's fixed for good (until the next migration).
