Steps to reproduce:
Simply open Firefox and "enjoy" the new megabar
Actual results:
The new megabar is annoying. I can understand the list, but the magnify. Really is this behavior needed? It can be a simple color change of border.
Expected results:
That the bar changes its border color, but not magnify.

Bugbug thinks this bug should belong to this component, but please revert this change in case of error.

We don't plan to introduce prefs to disable every new feature or change we make to Firefox, we love to listen about your feedback though.
There are various bugs on file already:
Bug 1627858 - Should have a user visible preference in about:preferences to disable Top Sites on focus
Bug 1627861 - megabar should not have additional padding if suggestions popup is not open but has focus
Bug 1628243 - Bookmark toolbar items are harder to touch in the new megabar redesign
Bug 1628024 - Urlbar dropdown degraded to duplicating top sites from new tab page
