RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1619882

People

(Reporter: rickard, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/80.0.3987.132 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

Installed Firefox 75 from Mozilla (also tried 76 beta)
Set MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1
Set widget.wayland-dmabuf-vaapi.enabled to true

Tried watching twitch streams in source quality, didn't work very well.
Youtube seems to work better but still issues with the Firefox UI.

(Running under Plasma on Wayland (KDE))

Actual results:

Videos flicker or flutter when played.
The Firefox UI also gets unresponsive,

I messed around with webrender settings and OMTC but didn't seem to make any difference.

Expected results:

No flicker and flutter, UI should work.
