User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:75.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/75.0
Steps to reproduce:
In about:preferences->Search->Search Bar, the choices are:
"Use the address bar for search and navigation" and
"Add search bar in toolbar"
My reading of this choice suggests that adding a search bar would make the address bar only used for navigation.
Actual results:
Enabling the search bar does not change any behavior of the urlbar.
Expected results:
My preference would be that adding the search bar disables search features in the url bar. (keyword.enabled=false)
A quicker fix would be rewording or changing the option, ie:
Search Bar
The megabar always allows searching, but adding a dedicated search bar is an option for advanced users.
"Hide the search bar"
"Show the search bar"
