Details
– toolkit/themes/shared/icons/identity-icon.svg (name made it hard to find, used in the address bar instead of the padlock for e.g. chrome:// URLs and in the top right corner of the tracking protection popup that opens when clicking on the shield in the address bar)
– browser/themes/shared/controlcenter/info.svg (no more used, see bug 1630998)
– browser/themes/shared/notification-icons/default-info.svg
– toolkit/themes/shared/profile/information.svg (used in new profile/downgrade profile dialogs, i.e. chrome://browser/content/newInstall.xhtml and chrome://mozapps/content/profile/profileDowngrade.xhtml)
– devtools/client/debugger/images/info.svg
– devtools/client/themes/images/info.svg
– devtools/client/themes/images/info-small.svg
– devtools/client/themes/images/info-tiny.svg (only used in accessibility pane, with a viewBox of 9 instead of 12 for info-small.svg)
– browser/components/newtab/data/content/assets/glyph-info-16.svg (used in about:preferences#home)
Among these, 4 are almost the same (except indentation, presence/absence of fill-opacity="context-fill-opacity" or fill-rule="evenodd"):

(These last two are really exactly the same except indentation)
Also, two icons looks identical, although their code is different:

Open questions:
– Is this really necessary to have two different icons if the only difference is the presence/absence of opacity="context-fill-opacity"?
– Should the icons with a thinner circle stroke be replaced by more Photon-y ones?
– Among all those icons, which ones should be included in Photon Icons?

The bug has a release status flag that shows some version of Firefox is affected, thus it will be considered confirmed.

Most of these were addressed in the proton icon refresh (which supercedes photon). Specifically bug 1699889 which consolidated these info icons.
The canonical info icon is at: toolkit/themes/shared/icons/info.svg and available as chrome://global/skin/icons/info.svg
But this one in devtools looks like a dupe we missed: devtools/client/themes/images/info.svg
It probably makes sense to close this bug and open one specifically for that devtools dupe.
