We should probably update https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/toolkit/components/telemetry/start/report-gecko-telemetry-in-glean.html#unsupported-features to call out that events are not supported, too.

Since people adding events in m-c are likely to be looking at https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/toolkit/components/telemetry/collection/events.html#the-yaml-definition-file and it implies that GeckoView is supported, we should add a note with the following line:
geckoview- Collected in GeckoView-based Android products and surfaced via GeckoViewTelemetryController.jsm.

Both are excellent points. I'll make sure to add a deprecation notice to https://firefox-source-docs.mozilla.org/toolkit/components/telemetry/collection/events.html#the-yaml-definition-file since it's been deprecated since Fx76 and will be removed in Fx79 (see bug 1620395).
