User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:77.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/77.0
Steps to reproduce:
Sometimes I see inconsistent font spacing in both Firefox and Thunderbird. I don't have a way to reproduce. Originally filed as bug 1334761, closed as fixed, but then I realized it still happens at random.
Actual results:
A screenshot is attached. Refer to bug 1334761 for more details.

Without a way for us to reproduce, I don't know that there is that much we can do about this unless maybe Jonathan has a good guess. Can you please try to find a reproducible testcase for us that we would be able to run and look at ourselves? It would greatly aid investigating this bug.

Because this bug's Severity has not been changed from the default since it was filed, and it's Priority is P3
(Backlog,) indicating it has been triaged, the bug's Severity is being updated to S3
(normal.)

Yeah. Check out the attached screenshot from nightly. You can see in the word screenshot that c and r are together. You can also see that 'Enter A Bug' is spaced normal, unlike the screenshot the first post. Seems to be arbitrary. This browser has hardware acceleration disabled and the OS has cleartype disabled.
