I re-added a crash ping cookbook in #403, but a few more crash ping examples were requested when chatting with relman last week:

  • Finding crash counts associated with a particular addon (e.g. firefox@ghostery.com)
  • Finding crash counts associated with a particular gpu vendor (Intel 0x8086, Nvidia 0x10de, AMD/ATI 0x1002)
  • (if possible) Finding crash counts associated with a particular locale

It's obviously impossible to handhold people through every possible crash triage scenario, but a few more realistic examples like this would go a long way.
