its prefs.js (or prefs50.js) not all.js. Let me know if that helped or is this some other bug?

Using 11/03/99 build on MAC, Putting the proxies in prefs.js or prefs50.js file under Defaults/Pref directory doesn't seem to help. What I did was, copied all.js to these files and set the proxies.
ok who gets prefs.js problems on the mac? Don sez matt gets this for the first look...

Tom, have we got proxies working on Mac? This used to work actually. Matt, are proxies hooked up thru the pref pane yet?
When i checked in the code it was hooked up though the prefs.
The problem is that the port number is not getting set. This should be a simple fix is you want it in M11. I'm trying it on the mac as we speak

I checked in a workaround for this fix. Moving to M12 for the real deal. Need to restart browser to get the proxy to change. Tom please confirm
