geckoview is not intended to support chrome tests, as I understand it.

That seems like a reasonable issue. I checked tasks.json and test-android-em-7.0-x86_64/{opt,debug}-geckoview-mochitest-chrome-gpu-e10s both have run_on_projects: [] so I guess we are getting the default behavior of enabling any task on try regardless of run_on_projects. I think this is still a worthwhile change to make as it eliminates spurious oranges. The 4 tests that do run seem unrelated to chrome.
