Details

- Suddenly UI became very slow: - Changing tabs/opening new tabs takes about 3 seconds, during this time the mouse cursor hangs. - When switching back to Mozilla with Alt+Tab it takes about 2 seconds until Mozilla's window is redrawn completely. - While a website is being (re)loaded the mouse cursor hangs as well - It doesn't matter which theme is applied, every theme is that slow All other applications work as expected, so that it must be a problem of Mozilla
"Suddenly" - after what special action (if any)? What build are you using? What build did you use before (if you updated)? Did you do a clean install? Are your third party themes up-to-date? Have you tried with a newly created profile? Does this happen all the time (i.e. after restarting Mozilla/your PC)? (It WFM with 2002081804 on Win2k)
It's me again, the problem is solved. It was the latest nvidia detonator driver that caused the incredible performance decrease. I've downgraded the driver and Mozilla works fine again :)

Bugs shouldn't be marked "FIXED" if no actual work was done by developers and no patch issued. Reopening.

==> INVALID Reason: As per comment 2: Detonator bug, not Mozilla bug.

P.S. Performance bugs may be major, but not critical (as there's no crash, no hang, no data loss)
