The specification in web-platform.yml of the following line:

Causes the backlog variant to also be interpreted as web-platform-tests, which causes problems in Bug 1608837 when web-platform-test chunking is to be done in the taskgraph.
Removing the suite attribute will let the backlog variant stand on its own and permit this to be inserted into the chunking blacklist at https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/taskcluster/taskgraph/transforms/tests.py#1263-1297 like web-platform-tests-reftests-backlog.
