Steps to reproduce:
Starts and displays all mail accessed prior to update 76 build 1. Password not stored, so pop up window should appear but does not.
The status bottom left corner says online: connected to pop@dsl.pipex.com. No download takes place.
This issue occurred with update 74 but corrected itself with update 75 only to fail again with latest update builds 1 and 2.
Actual results:
Attempted to force download by going offline result nothing downloaded. turned programme off same results, re-booted machine same result. mail is left on server and not downloaded.
on checking the stored password section in security everything is blank, nothing to check.
Expected results:
Programme starts, pop up window requests password, following Password entry programme connects to the server and downloads mail which is then deleted from server.

Do you still see this when using a newer version?
No.
I do not use the beta version now, I went back to the vanilla. But since then my provider has withdrawn POP mail access so I have had to move on after 20+ years. I am in the process of a major restructure moving over to Proton with a whole new email.
