Bug 1598145 adds a test that highlights a web compatibility issue with Chrome with replaced meta viewport content. Firefox has code to rescale resolution to maintain the proportional amount of visible content; Chrome does not do this in the cases examined in the test.
In addition to fixing this issue, the justification for changing resolution when meta viewport content changes needs to be revisited, and we need to check for additional web compatibility issues.
